Good morning friendos! I go by Mynn mainly, or Jerry, or Lyah, or Mmmmmmmmyea! I'm probably the one who's spammed your trade chat or insomnia'd it in game or on discord at 3am. Why? My friends are my life and they mean a lot to me, and I'd love for you to be one too! In <In Good Company> I spend a lot of my time on marketing and recruitment, seeing if anyone else out there could use a helping hand, a friendly 'hello!', or simply just a listening ear. I'm glad I get to work with some amazing people to cultivate this environment, and meet some amazing members that make the entire guild what we are; We're all here together because we like the same game, and that game just isn't quite as good without friends, so I like to make it my duty to make sure no one on our server goes without that opportunity. No one should have to rough it alone! Personally, I'm also a no-lifer at home, with my zoo of dogs, cats, and chickens. I have a degree in Marketing and Management from one of the top business schools in the country (USA at least!). I've worked in management both for retail, and for veterinary offices (primary care and emergency!) With these experiences, I've been able to gather valuable real life management knowledge to bring to <IGC> even in high stress and (previously) sometimes life-threatening situations. Lately though, I've left those to focus on my family and create a home both online and offline. Which is with all of you! I hope what I've learned in my life can help continue the loving, and warm home that this guild is, thank you for being a part of it with me!
Heyo! I'm Snibble, your friendly retribution paladin. Although I've been playing wow for years, it was really only when I started playing with awesome people during the pandemic that I fell in love with this game - and it also really deepened my understanding of the game thanks to some awesome mentors! Talk about a game-changer! Because of that, I try to go out of my way to make sure I reach out to as many people in guild as possible, hyping up our events or just our casual time together. I was the one who was horribly shy but desperate to be included, so if you're out there, I see you! As the oldest of 5 girls, I've always naturally fell in to leadership positions. I've held various management positions in both professional and recreational settings (retail, food & beverage, and then camp counselor, ballet teacher, etc). I'm obsessed with my dogs, as well as everyone else's. I've recently shifted careers in to vet med, and while I'm settling in to my new normal I'm struggling to get online as much as I would love to - My alarm now goes off at the same time I used to go to bed!! While [Mynn](/leadership/mynn) is focused on external recruiting, I'm more focused on internal - I try to make sure everyone feels welcome and establish lines of communication and an open door, and all those other wonderful buzz-words. If you're new to the guild and still hold the rank of "just met" that means we haven't had a chance to cross paths. I should be reaching out to you first, but if you see me on feel free to say hey! Although you can feel free to reach out to any company member for anything, I officially hold the role of retention, so lay it on me! I'm often looking for something to do in game, so please either post in guild chat or in discord if you'd like a hand with old or new content. Oh, I'm also in Canada in a timezone even further east than EST so I'll say goodnight as most of you are still logging on, and I'm married to [Spnk](/leadership/spnkmyr)!
Hey there prospective, or current guild member, I am Spnkmyr! You might be asking yourself, "what's with the name?" Well, it is a play on Spunkmeyer, one of the most underrated heroes in the best action film of all time, Aliens. I bet you are also wondering, what it is that I do around here. You may have noticed that I bear the rank of guild master in game. Well, unlike other guilds, In Good Company is controlled by a group of people, collectively called the Company, with real world leadership and managerial experience. So, with that in mind, the rank of guild master is figurative only and I am just one of a dedicated group of people trying to make In Good Company the next excellent guild. I spend most of my time dealing with logistical guild issues. This includes things like keeping track of guild projects, chairing monthly guild meetings, hosting various events, dealing with any organizational issues that need attention, and trying to support other members of the Company who are working equally hard, or more so, on other aspects of our amazing guild. A little back story: I've spent the last 15 years or so working in the rescue trades, including being a professional ski patroller and avalanche technician, gondola evac technician, firefighter, 2nd Lieutenant in the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Primary Reserve Infantry Regiment and member of my local search and rescue organization (in no particular order). I have extensive leadership experience in dynamic, high stress environments, and I like to think I bring a calm demeanor to situations that require critical decision-making. I hope that I can bring an impartial approach to guild leadership, and I am always open to feedback. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you need anything, and I'm always around if you need help.
Hi! I'm Kittyboom or Tokki! I used to main Tokki last season but really took a liking to healing so I've been maining Kittyboom. I'm not on as much as my co-company members but when I am on I try to make the most of my time and yours! Please don't be shy if you need help with something or need a healer for keys! I'm currently the Events Coordinator and plan and add all the events on the calendar that you see. I don't lead them all, that would be too much, but having other company members lead gives the opportunity for them to get to know you and vice versa! If you have any event ideas or even want to lead one, let me know and I'll get it on the calendar! We've had a lot of great events suggested by y'all so far! My experience comes from nearly 8 years of management in insurance for large teams of 15+. I ultimately left due to not getting the support from upper management causing my health to severely decline. So I got married and had kids(s) instead! Now I'm a manager of my own home. During the pandemic I decided to get back into WoW to find a village and community I could be part of since I didn't have one at home. I'm glad I found them and they also have to be the other company members. I'm excited to grow my village in this guild! Love, 🦙
Whaddup, I'm Troll but not really the internet kind. If you've seen someone in guild with the end being -seeks or it sounds like a name that just doesn't belong on an RP server, that's probably me. I've been playing WoW since Burning Crusade(although if you ask about my favorite expansions I'll have unpopular opinions for you). My main is a feral druid, but if you need a tank, I'm usually always available to help on that front too. I've done a little bit of everything over my career construction, IT, Insurance etc. However, from all of that, I have a decade of customer service experience with 4 of those managing teams of 4-6 individuals. I feel like the spectrum of what I've done gives me the ability to empathize with anyone from any walk and be non-judgemental. I'm a contributor on the logistical side of things and just usually have my hand in every cookie jar. Typically, you won't end up somewhere without me being around or having been a part of the planning or implementation process. If you ever need anything at all, whether it is be help in-game, learning a class, or simply how to best navigate a situation with another one of your guildmates, don't hesitate to send me a message on discord.
